Kaleb Kim is a business consultant with the Orange County Small Business Development Center (SBDC) specializing in loans and lines of credit for existing small businesses and start-ups. He has extensive knowledge in small business lending and how to qualify prospective borrowers, including evaluating business financials (including tax returns), refining business plans and projections, verifying credit-worthiness and determining clients’ eligibility for a wide range of loans, determining which financial institution(s) are a good fit, and providing overall client guidance on the loan process.
Prior to joining our team, Kaleb served as a business consultant for a start-up, a wholesale manufacturer in Orange County where he helped strengthen the company’s financial infrastructure.
Kaleb’s professional career has been focused on helping small businesses access working capital to grow their business. After Kaleb received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Business in 2005, he started his career as a credit analyst, assisting and empowering prospective borrowers with credit options before serving as a Small Business Banker and Relationship Manager at community and national Banks. Kaleb is passionate about leveraging his financial skills and contacts to help small businesses access capital and achieve profitable growth.
